"All that is gold does not glitter; not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither; deep roots are not reached by the frost." J. R. R. TOLKIEN
DaisyLife is like breathing for me. There's no start or an end to when I'm thinking or working or living the DaisyLife. The best I can describe it is as is a world full of wildflowers moving, swaying to our own beats and living beautifully through all its weathers.
If I may have the liberty to be lavish, I would happily think that the purpose of life is to live beautifully. Beautifully in how we carry ourselves, how to interact with the world, how to go about our daily activities, how we think... living with grace, joy, delight, emotions and yet steady and stable in our place. We may wonder what is beautiful, what are all these emotions, do we even know how what we are feeling and how we express? Some get caught here, most times it difficult to even understand what one is feeling... what is the default state?
While this is all quite complex, there is an added condition when we fake an emotion for the sake of the situation. In this entire mess, we are lost and finding our way back and building self awareness becomes a life long journey.
This is a very simple way of looking at this condition and demands all the million studies devoted to navigating our way through this.
However today, with this pre-basic and naive comprehension I want to dare to attempt at the simplicity of living that I call DaisyLife.
Feeling the wide range of emotions a human is capable of is the beauty of life, however the important thing to remember is to not get carried away.
Once you are aware of yourself, your default state, you know and believe in yourself even if its the fact that you don't know yourself but you'll know how to come back from that happy moment, the sad story, uncontrollable anger, excitement, love... feel it deeply, wholeheartedly express fully and then it will go. We get attached when we don't know how to come back, when our identity latches on to it and becomes a rollercoaster.
A Daisy life encourages to recognise and accept the simple state making it easy to live in a steadiness, to have a constant one can revolve around and live in ones own beauty with the ability to appreciate and enjoy the world without spinning off. Even spin as fast as one can, jumping orbits, somersault through the universe and yet know the center of gravity, the focal point.
Can you imagine living with this freedom?
