A Poem dedicated to Kanha National Park.
I lay under the massive tree looming over the porch, on a slow afternoon in the forest. The forest drew me in and I suddenly realised what it meant to feel alive. It was a different world and that afternoon still lives with me. I felt like I had floated away from the city and the life I had built in routines, traffic, concrete and walls.
The forest was a different world, it enveloped me and this was a different kind of vibrant activity, action, commotion and it felt like I was home.
That afternoon, I grasped the scene in this poem and I'm sharing it with you here hoping you can imagine and feel everything I experienced and the next time you are close to nature, you pause your thoughts of the past and future and immerse in the moment, in present world around you.
If you experience something you would like to share, I am here to hear from you.
Finding dreams in evening breeze
Watching leaves swaying gently
That monkey jumps
There a bird chirps
Standing still
The forest never sleeps
An ant marches
A caterpillar hangs
The spider webs
The tiger lounges
Flutter by with the butterfly
Perch up with the owl
Nature belongs to us all
The termite hills and sharp bird shrills
Graze along with the deer
Floating with the river
Come with me
To breath in nature...
